2 Week Dr. Visit

He is not 15 days old.  He is not 15 days old.  He is not 15 days old!  Ok so maybe that only works for Dorothy because he IS 15 days old and he has already grown and changed so much!!  He is starting to really come alive!  My mom made a good point on Monday by saying that his little body has been all cramped up for 9 months so it's like his whole body is waking up!!  So far...we're crossing our fingers and praying real hard this lasts...he is not a fussy baby!  He only cries when he is hungry or has a dirty diaper!  He doesn't seem too interested in a paci and he makes the cutest and sweetest little gestures with his lips!  Obviously we think he is just the most perfect and sweetest baby...EVER!  :)

The weather has been semi-nice this week and I've been really anxious to get outside so last night we took Roper on his first stroll in the neighborhood.  I think he might have enjoyed it because he stayed awake the whole time!!  I look forward to the fall so we can take many more strolls!!

We had our 2 week check-up this morning and our 8.1 pound, 19 1/4 inches long baby now weighs 9.5 pounds and is a lengthy 21 inches long!!  In just two weeks?!  Man...remember when your grandparents or older relatives that you didn't see regularly would tell you they were going to put a brick on top of your head to stop you from growing?!  I now want to do that to my sweet baby!!  :)
