Did You Know...

...There are songs about 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall and 99 Red Balloons.  In sports 99 is the highest jersey number allowed in most major league sports and 99 is the NBA record for most free throw attempts in a 7-game series, set by Elgin Baylor of the Los Angeles Lakers in 1962.  And 99 is a common price ending in psychological pricing and in the United Kingdom, a 99 is an ice cream cone with a Cadbury's chocolate flake pressed into the ice cream such that roughly half the flake is visible.  All those facts of useless knowledge are fun to know.  BUT...99 is also the number of days FROM TODAY until my due date!!!  We've hit the double digits!!!  I have decided that any milestone during pregnancy is a major milestone!!  Today is also Mother's Day!!  I know Roper isn't here in our arms just yet, but I feel that Curt and I became parents on December 7, the day we found out about our little miracle!!  Curt had me a sweet "Pre-Mother's Day" card this morning which of course made me cry!  Curt has really taken care of me and I am so thankful and grateful for that!  I realize more and more every day how much I love him and how excited I am to get to go though not just the rest of our lives together but parenthood as well!!  He's already proven to be an awesome husband and I just know he's going to make the best daddy ever!!  We had lunch with my family today at the farm.  It was a gorgeous day and we all had a nice time eating and laughing.  I am thankful that my mother is still here and that she and I have a close relationship and that I get to celebrate her on Mother's Day.  She is one strong, faithful, encouraging, sensitive, positive, etc...role model and it is my privilege to call her my Mother.  Here are a few snap shots from today's lunch!!
