What's in a Name?

"What's in a name?  That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet..."

Juliet obviously didn't know what she was talking about nor did she have a baby to name!!  With all things that come along with having a baby, picking a name has got to be one of the bigger challenges.  Think about it, this is going to help define who this little person is going to be and what they will be called for the rest of their life.  This is a huge responsibility.  Curt and I knew from the beginning it was all about using family names.  Ever since December 7 when we found out we were expecting we have had a list of names and we have been consistently adding to that list!  After tossing girl names and boy names back and forth we finally decided that waiting until we knew the gender was the way to go for us.  We knew we were only having one baby so there was no need thinking of girl names if it were going to be a boy and vice versa.  Once we found out the gender it was smooth sailing from there.  We already knew one name we wanted to use for sure.  The first name was a toss up between two names though but that was really all we needed to decide on.  Well, the day came and, we are both 100% satisfied with our decision.  We have named BBH!!!  So without further hesitation...BBH's name is going to be William Roper Hines.  William because that is Curt's first name.  Roper because that is my maiden name and he will go by Roper.  We like that because it's different.  And well, Hines because...haha...that's pretty much a given.  So, there it is.  No more BBH.  From now on it's all about Roper!!
