What a gorgeous weekend we had!! Hard to believe it's just the beginning of April with the temperature reaching 90 on Saturday!! Saturday morning Curt and I headed to Applebee's for the Saltillo Junior Women's Club Pancake Breakfast with the Easter Bunny!! We had a great turnout and everyone loved seeing the EB there! I do have to brag a bit on the EB! Not many husbands are very willing to get dressed up in any costume so a big THANK YOU & I LOVE YOU goes out to Curt for helping the women's club! Here are a few pictures from the morning...

After the pancake breakfast Curt and I came home just to get ready to go again! We spent the day with Todd and LeAnna at LeAnna's grandparents house. The days mission: Catch supper! Mission completed! The weather was perfect and we enjoyed our day with them! Oh and the food was great, too!!

Now, onto week 22. I'm a little sad today! From this week on we will go by months instead of weeks. That's only 4 more post with fruits or veggies! But that also means we are just getting that much closer to meeting BBH! This week he is a papaya!!

Curt and I are having to watch what we say since he is now able to hear outside noise from down in the womb. Studies show that he will find gentle music my voice most soothing. Nipples are starting to sprout, and his little face is fully formed. And, he is starting to settle into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day. I think he sleeps most of the day but is up and at it earlier in the mornings and around 8 at night he starts moving around, too! Also during week 22 his pancreas, a key player in hormone production, is developing steadily. His skin may appear wrinkled at this point, but in the coming weeks, he will be gaining enough weight to fill it out. His eyes have developed but his irises still lack color. Even though his irises will have color by the time he is born, we won't know his permanent eye color until he is at least 9 months old.
I am thoroughly enjoying learning about our baby as he grows! It's simply amazing knowing what the female body is capable of doing. I feel very fortunate that I have not had a "bad" pregnancy so far. With that being said, I hope it continues to be what I would consider a near perfect pregnancy!! :)
