things that grow

I totally forgot to mention and post a picture yesterday of my little seed project I have going on!  A few weeks a friend and I were running some errands and ended up buying a few seed packs.  I bought some okra.  I want to learn how to pickle my own home grown okra so what better way to try that out than to grow my own?!  I bought some morning glory and another flower that the name has escaped me at the moment.  I bought those because I love flowers and I have always wanted to grow morning glory.  It's a trellis plant and I feel that it will look pretty outside on our patio this summer.  And I bought a pack of cactus seeds.  Cactus!?  I know!  I just thought it would be cool to watch that grow and cactus just look cool anyhoo!  After planting all the seeds in my little jiffy greenhouse thingy they all started growing!  QUICKLY!  They got pretty tall so I thought it was time to transport into a larger pot.  This picture is just really kind of for fun but the more they all grow the more pictures I will take.  I think it will be cool to watch the plants grow not only here at my home but also through pictures!

I found the colorful pots at wal-mart!  Love the bright primary colors!!
