Week 40 {THE END: PART TWO}

9 months.  40 weeks.  280 days.  6720 hours.  403200 minutes.  24192000 seconds.  That's how long I have been pregnant as of today.  Does is seem like that long?  Not at all!  Does the past week seem like it's been that long?  You bet it does!  Will it all be worth it in the long run?  Most definitely!  Several times through the past 40 weeks I've referred to my pregnancy as a journey.  Journey as defined by Webster's Dictionary is an act or instance of traveling from one place to another.  I feel that this journey I have been on is taking me to a place that one could never truly prepare for and although I don't mind admitting that I have my moments of being over-whelmed with what lies ahead of me, at the same time I could not be more excited and ready for this next chapter in my life.  I know that Roper is being given to Curt and I by God and that if God thinks we are cut out to make it as Roper's parents then I know we've got this...Philippians 4:13 will remind us of that, DAILY!  I hope that the handful of people that have read this and gone on this journey with me have enjoyed learning about the weekly developments of a baby as much as I have.  I can't wait to start snapping pictures of him and posting updates of what he's up to so those that want to watch him grow can.
