Week 29 {It's Gettin Hot in Heerreee...}

Hello Summer!  Hello Heat!  Hello Mississippi humidity!  Ok...enough of that.  Hello last week in the 20s!!  Roper is super busy these days!  He has gotten so strong lately that I could just sit and watch my belly move all day!  I think he knows though when I want Curt to watch or I tell someone to "oohh look!!" because he just stops whatever he is doing!  Could that be a little stubbornness already showing itself?  I surely hope not!  I'm behind...again...on updating this week BUT I do have a great excuse this time!  Curt and I just got back from vacation on Monday (my normal posting day), I had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday, a Thirty One party Tuesday night, and now here we are to Wednesday where I'm calling it a day from preparing for a baby shower that is being hosted at my house on Saturday for LeAnna!!  The doctors appointment went really well and quickly on Tuesday!  Dr. Turner says everything is looking good and she will start seeing me every two weeks now!  I had gained 4 pounds since my last visit totaling me up at 19 pounds so far.  She also told me that I passed my glucose test thankfully but I pretty much knew that since I never heard back from them!!   Anyhoo...let's see what's going on this week...even if it half way over!  Roper is measuring roughly 15 inches long, he weighs close to 2 1/2 pounds and for the first time, his head is in proportion with the rest of his body!  His brain can control his body's temperature. His eyes can move in his sockets and his muscles and lungs continue to mature. His bone marrow is now producing red blood cells and fat continues to develop under his skin!  Also because of that fat developing under his skin his energy is surging (no kidding).  He is also settling into sleep and waking cycles, and also this month, all five senses are finally functional, and the brain and nervous system are going through major developments.  We are in month 7!  MONTH 7!!  As far as the Bump is concerned he is now the size of a squash!  This picture really doesn't make me think squash but whateve...And since today is also WW how about a little picture of the the crib being assembled!!!!  We got our crib and book case the day before we left for vacation last week!  Did you think I was going to just let it sit at the store while we were gone?!  OF COURSE NOT!  As soon as I got the call it was in I called Curt who in turned called his dad!  I absolutely L.O.V.E. it!!!
