This week the baby's skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone and fat is finally accumulating around it! The umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger and those little fingers and toes are now topped by one-of-a-kind prints!! My baby isn't just a baby anymore! It now has it's own little identity that no one else on earth has!! AH-MAZING!
In sports news today, I pack up and leave after work on Wednesday to head to the fabulous city of ATL. I'm really excited! This has become an annual trip for me, my mom, and our friend Nancy (Flo). We have been going since 2004, I think! The three of us love a good basketball game and it doesn't get much better than the SEC!! At least that will help some time go by while we patiently wait on Tuesday morning to get here!!
Tomorrow our carpets are being cleaned!! Just one step closer to this house being baby ready!! We are also doing a little rearranging in the living room. Before Curt and I got married he had a large leather sectional that for some reason I was not a fan of! 2 years later we are bringing that large leather sectional back!! See...all I needed was a little time! :) I'm ready and excited to shop for baby furniture and I'm ready and excited to watch other people paint the nursery!! I hear the fumes are harmful so I think supervising sounds a little safer...maybe.
If you come by and read I would love it if you wanted or felt lead to leave a comment! I'm going to turn this blog into a book once Baby H arrives because I think it's going to make a GREAT keep-sake and I would love to be able to share with BH what others were thinking or questioning as I write! :) Hope everyone has a good week. I'm off to do a little BELLY LAUGHING and then call it a day!
