I'm all about being crafty! Last year Curt and I turned our ordinary dinning room table into a cute little thing by painting it a pretty cream shade. We also painted our buffet and added a corner cabinet! It made a HUGE difference! I've recently discovered a website that I am now o.b.s.e.s.s.e.d. with! Ana-White definitely knows what she is doing! Her site is awesome and offers not only great ideas, gives you a shopping list, a cut list, what tools you will need, an estimated price range, BUT the best part is...the plans...are FREE! I've already created a to-do list! Project #1...the Super Easy Bench! The picture to the left is the picture from her website! I haven't completely finished my bench yet but I wanted to go ahead and post pictures of what I...um, WE have finished so far! I am really excited about this and can't wait to start on project #2!! I'm gonna be a handywoman before you know it!

I'm going with this color green because this bench is going outside and I am going to set potted plants on it. I thought the different color leaves would look kinda cool! |
