When you wish upon a star...

WOW!  What an overwhelming and emotional day for me!  My dream has always been photography.  As a teenager I always had a camera.  Even it was a disposable.  In high school, I had the privilege to work with a well known photographer for my co-op job.  There I learned not just about taking pictures but about the business and all the behind the scenes!  In college, I was that girl who always wanted to take snap shots and capture all of the fun times my friends and I had!  Now as an adult and with a little bit better camera, my dreams are finally coming true!  In September I had the opportunity to take pictures of a friend and her fiance (previous post).  After showing Lindsey her pictures and hearing how excited she truly was about them, that's when it clicked!  Not only was I doing something that I had a passion for, but I made someone else happy.  That was the payoff!  That was the best reward!  Yesterday I had the pleasure of capturing my pretty little friend, Lauren.  I was stressed a little during this shoot because of her dress that I let get dirty and a small disagreement with the railroad track.  I wasn't sure I got the right shots.  After sharing the pictures with her mother (my boss!) this morning,  my anxiety was eased with her obvious excitement and approval of the pictures!  She even went as far as emailing not only her friends but also co-workers bragging on the pictures!  I thanked God right then!  I know if it were not for him blessing me with not only a love for photography but a mind and the ability to take pictures, I would not be able to do what I love.  So, with all that being said...here is a preview of Miss Lauren Burgett.
